Note that the prep guide consistently refers to data files in the Sasuser data directory. 
To access the data files in the prep guide, select Help>Learning SAS
Programming from the main menu in SAS.  
SAS will prompt you whether to create Online Training Sample Data, and will set up the 
training files when you select OK.  Use the Explorer frame to confirm that all the 
files appear in the Sasuser directory.
