Tidal Basin, Washington DC, 2013

DC is my first stop in America. And I still miss that city today. The food, the museums, and the cherry blossoms. By the way, it's usually hard for tourists to see the cherry blossom just the right time; it's always too early or too late. However, since I lived here, it's not a problem.

The Magnificent Mile, Chicago, IL, 2015

I do not like Chicago as much as I do for New York, but it's worth the time. The thing impressed me the most tho, is their shitty airport, and the caramel popcorn. I've stayed more time than I should in Chicago, since ORD is usually the transitional stop of my flights back to China.

Arlington Cemetary, Virginia, 2014

The Arlington Cemetary is a really peaceful and tranquil place to spend a nice afternoon. And it's a good place to start a conversation about life and death.

Assembly Street, Columbia, South Carolina, 2014

This is the first photo from my Fuji X100T. I fell in love with that 35mm lens and ever looked back. In the meantime, I started to get used to the lifestyle in the south, the accent, the sweet tea, and the freaking hot weather.

Eclipse, Columbia, South Carolina, 2017

It's one thing to see the photo, and it's actually another to see it in person. And South Carolina happens to be one of the places with full eclipse! I travelled back from Maine just to see the eclipse, and it's totally worth it. The moment when everything turns dark, is really mind-blowing.

Qinghai Lake, Qing Hai, China, 2013

A bunch of people waiting for sun-up. The latitude makes this place freezing even during the summer. What also surprised me is, even in China, we are so different from area to area. The people in Qinghai do not speak the same langauge, have different beliefs and lifestyle. It's really amazing.

Frankfurt, Germany, 2013

I never get the chance to travel in Frankfurt. However, it was a major transitional city on my flight to China if I booked the tickts from Lufthansa. The route is from DC to Frankfurt and then Beijing. Sometimes the layover takes ridiculously long time and I once spent 8 hours in there. However, I have to stay in the airport since I do not have a visa. SAD.

Central Univ of Finance and Economics, Beijing China, 2012

I spent my college years in Beijng. And I guess the college years really set path for my future and to some extent define who I am. Like the passion I have got for big cities, for tech-relate jobs and a lot more. By the way, this was what the graduation looked like. I love this photo so much. I miss these guys. I really do.

New York City, NY, 2013

I made a trip to New York on Christmas of 2013. I am a picky guy to be honest. But I love New York. It's croweded and noisy; it's cold as fuck, but it feels like the center of the universe.

Capitol building, Hartford, CT, 2017

I interned at the Harford over the summer. It's a small and serene town. The summer in the New England is a million times better than that in the South. I never got an chance to walk in this building tho, since the goverment agencies only open on weekdays, and I got work to do.

Yale University Musuem, New Haven, CT, 2017

I travelled to New Haven and some other cities in the North after my internship concluded. I went as far as Maine. Thought travelling might be miserable. It's not. The fancsinating thing about Yale is that you are living in the history. Even the gym is like built in an ancientt church or something. I also got to see their art school, where Meryl Streep got her degree.

Disney Park, Orlando, Florida, 2017

Night at the amusement is the best.

The Southern White House, Richmond, VA. 2017

This is the confederate white house, located at the backyard of the confederate museum. It's harder and harder to draw the line between racism and history nowadays, but we should still try to understand each other.

Epcot, Orlando, Florida, 2017

Epcot is part of the Big disney park, and it is like a world fair. And like any world fair, the theme is always food and drinks.

Disney Park, Orlando, Florida, 2017

There is a parade in the afternoon when you can see Mickey and Minnie. Sounds cheesy but when you really see it, you are gonna love it. I do not quite think Disney can actually make dreams come true, but they do raise the bar of parks. It's on par with universal studio. Arguably better, depending on whcih kind of entertainment you are into.

Charleston, South Carolina, 2017

Me with Mou at the beach. A shot by his girlfriend. We stayed an Airbnb hotel, which was a small BOAT. It sounds fun but there was no decent heating device, and it was January.

Charleston, South Carolina, 2017

Pigeon! On that cold January morning, we walked down the pier, and saw a lot of pigeons. Come to think of it, it's weird to see pigeons, right? Should be stupid seagulls, right?

Orlando, FL, 2017

This is the castle of Hogwarts. I love everything about Harry Potter: the book, the movie and the theme park. Artists are those who can help us to create a new world that can help us to get rid of the real one.

Acadia National Park, Maine, 2017

In the north country, the weather is chill in the summer. Americans are really lazy tho: the mountain is only like 400 meters and they got a paved road to drive up. By the way, Maine's highway got kilometers on the road sign. Man, I miss the metric system.

Boston, MA, 2017

This is Bosto! Less noisy than New York, but with more history. I saw the monument of Hancock, the stature of Bill Russell, and the freedom trail.
